JETICATM
Cleaning Fluid
- Inkjet printer cartridges cease to print correctly
because of three reasons:
- The ink
cartridge is empty and needs refilling.
- The print
head has dried up and residue ink on the head
needs cleaning.
- Paper fluff collects on the print head.
- Using specifically
formulated JETICATM Cleaning Fluid helps to prevent
print head problems and prolong the life of the head
dramatically. It is strongly recommended that the print head
is wiped with JETICATM Cleaning Fluid at least
monthly.
- JETICATM Cleaning
Fluid can be used to help rejuvenate a cartridge
that has been allowed to dry out, by dissolving the
minute particles of dried ink which may block the
print head. Allowing print head to soak in
JETICATM Cleaning Fluid can clean
print nozzles and help restore print
quality.

Certain types of
cartridges contain sponge which become less
absorbent to ink over a period of time. Cleaning the
cartridge through with JETICATM Cleaning Fluid
can improve internal absorption.
If you have a mono inkjet/bubblejet printer
you can still print in colour by refilling your black cartridge with
coloured ink. When filling a cartridge which previously
contained a different colour ink, the cartridge must first be cleaned.
This can be done by flushing the cartridge through with JETICATM Cleaning
Fluid. Use the syringe and filling needle provided to inject JETICATM
Cleaning Fluid into the cartridge through the filling hole and draw
back out until all traces of black ink are removed. ( Follow the instructions
on injection for your inkjet cartridge ).
IMPORTANT:
Under no circumstance should ALCOHOL, SPIRIT, ACETONE,
LIGHTER FUEL or UNFILTERED WATER be used on the print head as it
will cause IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE to the print head.

Snap & Fill assists manually to refill new Hewlett Packard® 51626A and 51629A "sealed" cartridges which do not have a top fill hole. Refill from the underside: Quick-Clean-Simple!
The feedback have been very positive. Most users comment that this method is easier than the standard through the top fill hole method. The filling device will work on both the old and new style 51626A/29A cartridges.
The Snap and Fill also had an unexpected benefit that was becoming an obvious advantage for anyone using the device. It seems that as the ink enters the cartridge, escaping air helps unplug the nozzles. As far as it is known, no other filling kit makes this claim. The customers experience fewer clogged nozzles and are also very pleased with the easy procedure. It takes about 30 seconds to fill, and a little pull back on the syringe delivers the needed vacuum. The only other option for the new cartridges, is to drill a hole where the old fill hole once was.

The United States Federal Trade Commission regulations prohibit equipment manufacturers from stating that using other sources for supplies will either void a warranty, prohibit service to be rendered, or change any existing maintenance agreement on the subject of equipment. The purpose of these FTC regulations is to prevent equipment manufacturers from unfairly stopping or eliminating competition. Customers should be aware that OEM manufacturers stating that other inks can not be used in their equipment that is under warranty is not in compliance with Federal Trade Commission regulations on the grounds of unfair restrain of trade.
